Meet & Greet Rotakids

Posted on : 03-08-2015 | By : Allan | In : News

On Monday 20th July a “Meet and Greet” of Lancaster School Rotakids was organised by Mike Worth. Children and teachers from Ellel, Bowerham and Scotforth Schools were able to attend. President George was unable to attend due to illness but several other members were there. Roger Carradice spoke about Rotary Charities, John Yarnall re Youth Competitions, Tim Jenkinson on polio eradication and Sheena Marsden on RYPEN and RYLA.
Entertainment was provided by Lancaster Schools Steel Band which gave Mike the opportunity to display Dad dancing that made a significant( and hopefully not too damaging) impact on the youngsters.
It was a successful inaugural event, thanks to Mike for all the work
